2 Victims Burned In IE House Fire Near Joshua Tree, Both Taken By Ambulances To Hospital
Firefighters rushed to Belfield Boulevard, where a single-story home was burning. Ambulances were called for the burn victims.
LANDERS, CA — A home in Landers, near Joshua Tree, ignited Friday, burning two residents inside, San Bernardino County Fire Department dispatch reported.
Around 9:30 a.m., firefighters were called to the scene at the 2200 block of Belfield Boulevard. There, they found a home fully engulfed in heavy smoke.
"Battalion Chief 138 reported a fully involved single-story, single-family structure," a spokesperson for the department shared.

Two ambulances were called for two separate burn victims.
"Crews provided patient care and were engaged in a defensive fire attack," they said.

It was not immediately clear if the residents self-evacuated. No other information was immediately available.
