Armed Robbery Investigated 4 Blocks From UC Berkeley Campus
Police are working to identify the suspect who fled in a vehicle after pulling a gun out and robbing a woman on a Berkeley sidewalk.
BERKELEY, CA — An armed robbery was reported Saturday afternoon about four blocks from the campus of the University of California, Berkeley.
At least one person with a gun approached the victim on the sidewalk in the 2500 block of Warring Street and stole her tote bag about 4:20 p.m., Berkeley police said.
The suspect fled in a dark gray vehicle, police said.
