Berkeley To Host Virtual Meeting On Telegraph Avenue Redesign Plan
The Telegraph Multimodal Corridor Project will improve safety for those walking, bicycling, and taking transit, city says.

BERKELEY, CA — The city of Berkeley will host a virtual meeting Oct. 26 to discuss its plans to redesign Telegraph Avenue as part of the Telegraph Multimodal Corridor Project to improve safety for those walking, bicycling, and taking transit.
The Zoom meeting scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. is open to all city residents and will allow for them to give input, ask questions and learn more about the redesign which will take place along the section of Telegraph Avenue from Dwight Way to Woolsey Street, the city said in an Oct. 21 news release.
Potential designs include transit improvements to make city buses more reliable, protected bike lands to provide a safe cycling space separate from car traffic and pedestrian improvements to make it safer for people to use sustainable modes of travel.
