Berkeley Rep Premieres 'The Thing About Jellyfish'

BERKELEY, CA — Berkeley Repertory Theatre has unveiled the world premiere of "The Thing About Jellyfish," described as a visually stunning and deeply emotional coming-of-age story.

The production will run through March 9.

Adapted from the best-selling novel by Ali Benjamin, The Thing About Jellyfish follows Suzy Swanson, a young girl grappling with the sudden loss of her best friend. As Suzy embarks on a journey of self-discovery and resilience, the play explores themes of friendship, grief, and change through a combination of poignant storytelling and breathtaking stage design.
