BERKELEY, CA — Authorities are seeking the public’s help locating Berkeley retail robbery suspect who assaulted a employee, police said.
The robbery occurred Saturday at 11:48 a.m. at the UC Berkeley Student Store at 2495 Bancroft Way, according to police.
The robber assaulted an employee who attempted to stop him, police said.

The suspect got away with clothing valued over $1,000 police said.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-9 male with a thin build who was wearing a green beanie and black/red sweatpants, according to police.
