Berkeley Toy Drive: Drive Up And Drop Off Dates, Locations

The police department is collecting the toys for distribution in Berkeley.

BERKELEY, CA — The Berkeley Police Department is holding a toy drive to make the holidays brighter for local families that are struggling.

The toys will be donated to Building Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency (BOSS) before Christmas.

The Department is asking for members of the community to donate unused, unwrapped gifts for children ages 4-16.

To make donating easier, the department is hosting several drive-up and drop-off events at the Berkeley Police Department. Two dates remain:

  • Dec. 12th: 4 – 8 p.m.
  • Dec. 17th: 10 – 6 p.m.

The drive-up and drop-off will be in front of the Berkeley Police Department at 2100 Martin Luther King Jr. Way. There will be signs to guide you. Officers will approach your car and help you unload your gifts.

There will also be two toy drives at the 4th Street Plaza, across from Pete's coffee on Fourth Street. Drop-off dates and times:

  • Dec. 7: 4 - 8 p.m.
  • Dec. 15: 4 - 8 p.m.
