Berkeley's Summer Concert Series To Feature A Variety of Music For All
The Summer Concert Series features a plethora of musical genres including Reggae, Jazz, R&B, Soul, Kids Music and much more.
BERKELEY, CA — Berkeley's annual summer music concerts, held throughout the city at different parks kicked off June 3, at Virginia-McGee Totland with lively sing-alongs from Andy Z, but its not too late to make plans to attend future concerts, the city said in a news release.
Featuring a plethora of musical genres including Reggae, Jazz, R&B, Soul, Kids Music and much more, the concerts are scheduled for every Saturday night at a different park throughout the city and run through July 29.
All Music in the Parks events features kids' activities, food, music, entertainment and all local musicians.

Upcoming performances include:
- Saturday, June 17, 4 to 7 p.m. — R&B and Soul with Dee Dee Simon, Gerald William and Viveca Hawkins at Strawberry Creek Park
- Saturday, July 8, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. — Morchestra at John Hinkel Park
- Saturday, July 22, 2 to 5 p.m. — Reggae with Rankin Scroo and King Kosh at Willard Park
- Saturday, July 29, 3 to 5 p.m. — Kids Day with Purple Fox and the Heebie Jeebies at San Pablo Park

No alcohol or controlled substances allowed at the concerts, but attendees should bring blankets or low back chairs to get comfy and enjoy the music.
