Burglary Reported At University Cafe

The burglary comes just days after an arson fire at the same location.

BERKELEY, CA — A man burglarized the Golden Bear Cafe on the University of California, Berkeley campus early Saturday, police said.

The burglary took place around 5:30 a.m. Saturday, according to campus police, who said a man forced entry into the business and stole "unknown items."

The cafe sits on the eastern end of Cesar E. Chavez Student Center, which was built in 1960 and houses several student services, including the campus program for disabled students.
