Berkeley will play host to two events Oct. 31 guaranteed to bring fun into your Halloween.

BERKELEY, CA — Halloween is just a day away and the city of Berkeley is preparing some frightful fun for kids and adults alike to celebrate the spookiest of days.
First up is the city's annual Halloween Parade and Kids' Costume Contest where participants can dress up and join other Berkelians for a fun parade and costume contest featuring ghouls and goblins from kindergarten up to fifth grade. Scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 4-6 p.m. at Frances Albrier Community Center, San Pablo Park, 2800 Park Street, this event happens early enough in the day to allow for some trick-or-treating after the fun ends.
Registration is recommended for this family-friendly event where participants will head to San Pablo Park to show off their costumes in a scary stroll around the park before heading to the auditorium where a costume contest divided up by grades will be held.
