Pop-Punk Band State Champs To Perform In Berkeley
The group has launched a tour for their new album, with a Berkeley performance this week.
BERKELEY, CA — Pop-punk band State Champs are embarking on a nationwide tour in celebration of their fifth studio album, State Champs, released Friday through Pure Noise Records.
With production by Anton DeLost, known for his work with Mayday Parade and Hawthorne Heights, the album offers high-energy tracks that capture the band’s signature sound.
The tour will feature special guests Knuckle Puck, Meet Me at the Altar, and Daisy Grenade, with a local stop at UC Theatre Taube Family Music Hall this Thursday.
Since their beginnings in 2010, State Champs have risen to prominence in the pop-punk scene, with accolades from Rolling Stone, MTV, and Alternative Press, and their 2018 album Living Proof earned them recognition as “modern-day pop-punk torchbearers” by Billboard.
Their latest work includes collaborations with genre legends like Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low and Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus, further solidifying their influence.
Tickets for the Berkeley show and other tour dates are available through official platforms.
