Turkey Basket Drive Underway For Needy Berkeley Families
The Berkeley Police Association has a Go Fund Me page to raise money for the baskets. They're halfway to their goal.
BERKELEY, CA — The Berkeley Police Association is raising money for this year's Turkey Basket drive.
"For the past few decades, the Berkeley Police Association has hosted a Turkey Basket drive for Thanksgiving," the association said in an appeal to the community. "The baskets include a whole turkey, sides, bread rolls and a dessert."
The baskets will be delivered to various organizations in Berkeley on November 27 — just in time for Thanksgiving.
