Beverly Hills' Morning Geyser
The corner of 3rd and Maple was drenched by a broken fire hydrant early Monday.

A busted fire hydrant at 3rd Street and Maple Drive in Beverly Hills sent water soaring into the air Monday morning.
As seen in the accompanying photo, the water shot up to a height higher than a nearby light pole.
A spokesperson for the Beverly Hills Police department told The Huffington Post that the massive leak was a sheared fire hydrant, the result of an early-morning traffic collision. The AOL/Huffington Post offices are on the same block.
