Beverly Hills Seeks Nominations For 2023 Embrace Civility Award
The city is accepting nominations for its 13th annual Embrace Civility Award.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Do you know someone in Beverly Hills who exemplifies positive human relations? They could be the next recipient of the city's annual Embrace Civility Award.
For the 13th year in a row, the city plans to honor a community member who exemplifies one or more of these attributes: acting as a role model of positive behavior, taking a stand in support of respect and responsible actions, and promoting positive neighbor-to-neighbor relations.
Nominations are being accepted until August 21 online, at the Farmers' Market and at the Beverly Hills Public Library.

Last year's recipient was Les Bronte, whose long list of official city service includes a term as mayor in 1998. He's also tutored Beverly Hills High School students and coordinated the city's CPR training for years.
"We are so grateful for everything you've done to make Beverly Hills prepared, connected and truly engaged in one another's safety," then-mayor Lili Bosse said when presenting Bronte with the award.
