Beverly Hills Star Student Directed His First Film At Age 6

We all know students who excel in academics, fine arts or volunteer service. Here is one student who always puts in his best effort.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Marjorie DeHey, who nominated her relative Ryker of Beverly Hills.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

Ryker is an extremely talented actor and director. He directed his first short film, “Beverly Hills Heroes” at the age of 6, and it went on to win numerous awards.

He recently won a Young Artists’ Academy Award, which is considered a Youth Oscar for his lead role in “Bottle Monster," an award-winning feature film. He recently started in the Civil War-era short film “Goldenrod." Additionally, Ryker has a supporting role in the upcoming film “Immortal Thieves: The Bloody Heist."

Every director, actor and crew member who has worked with Ryker has praised him for his extreme professionalism at such a young age. He works tirelessly to create great content and he also is extremely positive and helpful on any film set. Overall, he supports other young actors and helps others to build their careers. He is truly a star student.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

Ryker works extremely hard to achieve his goals and is very supportive of others achieving their goals.
