GBK Brand Bar Benefiting Those Affected by Recent Wildfires

Over $420K donated to individuals and families in need

Although the year began tragically for Los Angeles residents, the community united with unwavering support, including GBK Brand Bar which recently produced an event to give back to those affected by the wildfires.

Stars in the music and entertainment industry attended the daytime event at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, hosted by Bodywell (EMF protection technology) and MEND (transformative skincare ). Guests created 1400 bags on site with wellness essentials from the nonprofit organization AmeriCares, such as towels, first aid products and toiletry items. The wellness bags, which included $500 Visa gift cards and were valued at over $400K, also included Evercool moisture-wicking, antimicrobial pillowcases from Rest and were later distributed to local shelters.

Eco-friendly electric scooters and e-bikes from 5TH Wheel – a subsidiary of INVANTI – were also on hand. The company featured four of their modern, high-performance products including their Knight e-bike, signed by celebrities at the event! The e-bike blends retro aesthetics with cutting-edge technology, delivering a ride that’s both stylish and powerful with speeds up to 28 mph. The e-bike features a 48V 15.6Ah battery that not only allows you to enjoy up to 55 miles on a single charge with pedal assist but the removable design allows for indoor charging (plus you have the added theft protection). Other features include: 20” x 4” anti-skid fat tires for better stability, traction and shock absorption; LED headlights, taillights and turn signals; front and rear disc brakes for dependable braking performance and improved safety; enhanced LCD display; Shimano 7-speed gear system; and full suspension.

The celebrity-signed one-of-a-kind Knight e-bike was later auctioned through Crew Nation, the charity arm for Live Nation, raising $20K – enough to provide four $5K grants for LA fire victims.

“GBK is proud to do our small part in helping those in our community who were affected by the recent wildfires,” states Gavin Keilly, GBK Brand Bar founder. “So many individuals and families lost everything, we felt compelled to offer our support.”
