Over 100 Beverly Hills Residents Lose Power: SCE

A Beverly Hills power outage affected over 100 residents Thursday morning, according to Southern California Edison.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — At least 139 Beverly Hills residents were without power Thursday afternoon after major storming in Los Angeles, according to Southern California Edison.

The outage was reported around 6:53 a.m. near Loma Vista Drive and Trousdale Place. All residents were expected to have power again by 5 p.m., according to SCE.

Some residents were also experiencing AT&T outages, according to Mayor Lili Bosse.

"Once again, residents in our city are without [SCE] electricity and others without [AT&T]. In some situations, people are experiencing both at the same time. Grateful to our public works family who are working non stop to assist," Bosse said in a tweet.

Just before 2 p.m., SCE had determined the cause of the outage and was performing repairs. To track the outage, search outage number 800198406 on SCE's website.
