Police Make Arrest In Beverly Hills Trespassing Incidents

Beverly Hills police arrested a 35-year-old man in connection with respassing incidents in the city.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Beverly Hills police on Wednesday made one arrest and have another person in custody after trespassing incidents in the city, authorities said.

Christopher Turner, 35, was arrested Wednesday afternoon outside a residence on Laurel Way during a follow-up investigation. Turner faces a felony burglary charge and remains in police custody alongside a "female companion," who was also detained, police said.

"I am thankful to our residents for their patience and our department’s tireless efforts to bring this suspect into custody,” Police Chief Mark Stainbrook said in a statement.

Police responded to a trespassing call in the 1000 block of Laurel Way around 9:26 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department. No one was located at the time after a "thorough search," police said.

Days before on Sunday, police solicited the public's help to find a person who they claimed had trespassed into a home earlier Sunday in the 1000 block of Laurel Way. Authorities were searching for a trespassing suspect in the 1000 block of North Crescent, police said. All the homes in the 1000 block of North Crescent were searched at the time and no person was found.
