Police Stop Stolen Car In Beverly Hills After Pursuit

Authorities on Monday stopped a stolen car driving through Beverly Hills, according to the police department.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Beverly Hills police took one person into custody after a short foot pursuit Monday evening, authorities said.

Around 5 p.m., police tried to stop a stolen vehicle around Beverly Drive and South Santa Monica Boulevard, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department. The driver of the car ran and police ultimately took the driver in custody around Canon Drive and North Santa Monica Boulevard, police said.

There were no other details immediately available.
