Lower back pain is one of the most common issues clients experience — and today I’ll show you a simple, powerful manual therapy technique you can start using right away.
Using a resistance band around the client’s wrists, have the client sit or move into a child-pose position on the massage table. From behind, gently pull the band to create decompression through the lumbar spine. This opens space between the vertebrae, reduces pressure on the discs, relaxes the fascia, and releases tension through the hips and QL.
This technique is safe, effective, and easy to integrate into any massage or PhysioMassage session. Try it with your clients who have stiffness, tight hips, or chronic lower back pain — the relief is amazing.
