BEVERLY HILLS, CA — The Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies announced this week that it's moving to a new location at Olympic Boulevard and Beverly Drive near the "heart of Jewish LA," according to a statement.

The Conservative rabbinical school, a division of American Jewish University, plans to move into the 350 South Beverly Drive space by mid 2024. School leaders highlighted the location's walking-distance proximity to Pico-Robertson, with its synagogues, Jewish businesses and Kosher restaurants.

“The Ziegler School’s top priority is the success and wellbeing of our students. This strategic relocation will create huge benefits for both our students and faculty by increasing access to Jewish life,” Rabbi Bradley Shavit Artson, dean of the Ziegler School, said in a statement. “Relocating the program to Pico-Robertson will facilitate a more rich and dynamic learning environment, which supports our mission to provide our students with strong academic and professional training, personal spiritual enrichment, and a sense of community.”

The Ziegler School had been housed at American Jewish University's Bel Air campus above the Sepulveda Pass. The university sold that 35-acre campus in the fall amid financial pressures, the Jewish Journal reported.

Ziegler is one of two Conservative rabbinical schools in the country, according to the Journal.
