30 Displaced By Bay Area Apartment Complex Fire
The complex contained 12 apartments, nine of which were occupied.
SAN JOSE, CA — About 30 San Jose residents were displaced from an apartment complex in the East Foothills area Sunday morning.
The fire broke out at about 9 a.m. at a two-story building at 550 Toyon Ave., according to the San Jose Fire Department.
The complex contained 12 apartments, nine of which were occupied.

The flames were brought under control by about 10:15 a.m. No injuries were reported.
The damaged units were deemed uninhabitable and needs for those impacted were being assessed by the San Jose Fire Department.
