Bunnies Offers Chance to Highlight Special Needs Pets

A reader brought his special needs pup to 2011 Bunnies and Bonnets Parade, offers glimpse through photos.

As the community gears up for this Saturday, April 7th's Bunnies and Bonnets parade, one reader offers up his images from last year's event, with a special message.

LilOscarsWagon.com is a web site for our "Lil Oscar." He's a specially-abled Shih Tzu who became permanently disabled on Halloween of 2000.

I built him a covered wagon to fit over his wheelchair and for the last several years we've decorated it for many parades and events. We do a slideshow of each event from the many pics we take.

Please enjoy the slideshow from last years Bunnies and Bonnets Parade. We'll have this years about 10 days after the event.

We want to show everyone that even a disabled dog can have a great life and inspire many, there is no reason to end their lifes as some veterinarians suggest.

And if you give him a 'Like' on facebook, Ron says Lil' Oscar will give you a lick when he sees you!
