• Local investor buys South Bay hotel near Pruneyard Shopping Center (mercurynews.com) — A well-known Campbell Inn hotel across Highway 17 from the Pruneyard has been sold for $11 million, reflecting how far local hotel values have fallen since before the pandemic. The 95-room property on East Campbell Avenue changed hands as Bay Area hospitality continues to struggle with loan defaults, foreclosures, and sharply reduced per-room prices.
