Robbery Prompts Safety Alert By S.J. State Police

SAN JOSE, CA -- Cal State police need the public's help finding two suspects wanted in a street robbery from Monday afternoon on 8th Street near San Salvador Street where they allegedly used a gun and stole a cell phone. They were last scene running south on 8th Street.

The victim described the suspects as being in their 20s, wearing hooded sweatshirts -- one a black black males with a red backpack; the other Asian with a white shirt with block lettering. Both men were wearing long pants and dark-colored shoes.

Police are asking the public nearby to be aware of the surroundings.
