It's Monday, that means we're back to the grind, but this week is a sunny and fun one in Carlsbad.
1- Saturday is Christmas in July at South Carlsbad State Beach
2- Weather.com shows Carlsbad to be sunny with a high around 73 degrees all week. It's a rough life out here.

4- One of our readers said he feels the pedestrian crosswalks to the beach are dangerous, especially the one by 7-11 at Oak Street and Carlsbad Blvd. Tell us in comments if you have had a near miss as either a pedestrian or motorist around the Carlsbad beach crosswalks, we want to hear what you think.
5- If you can't make it to the beach, relax at your home in a hammock. Monday July 22nd is Hammock Day.
