The CHS Interact Club is the recipient of the Rotary International “Presidential Citation for Interact Clubs” for the 2-12-2013 school year. Present at a recent Hi-Noon Rotary Club meeting (sponsor of the CHS Interact Club) were CHS Interact President Allyson Choi and Interact President-Elect Julie Ambo to accept the award. The Presidential Citation is an honor designated by the leader of the 1.3 million Rotarians worldwide. Sakuji Tanaka of Japan serves as RI President for 2012-2013. The Carlsbad High School Interact Club had a variety of service and club projects to design and complete within the school year. They were identified as among the elite in Interact Clubs throughout the nation. Interact Clubs are sponsored by local Rotary clubs and also believe in the Rotary motto “Service Above Self” by identifying needs and providing services.
