Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary Member Recognized as Paul Harris Fellow

When $1,000 is contributed to the Rotary Foundation, a request can be made for an individual to be recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow.

Dawn Van Siclen recently received her first Paul Harris Fellow recognition.

Paul Harris is the founder of Rotary International. The Rotary Foundation uses the funds to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.

The Paul Harris Fellow contributions supports activities such as Vocational and on-the-job training for land mine victims in Cambodia, hand-washing stations, training for teachers,  in dept hygiene training for  students at a school in Ecuador, scholarships, Microcredit loans to women in Togo, and polio immunization for children and water purification systems in third world countries.
