CiCi's Pizza to Open in Carlsbad, Intersection Selected
Due to competitors in the area, the exact Carlsbad location of the buffet-style pizza chain has not been disclosed yet.
CiCi’s Pizza was founded in 1985 and is located in 34 states, but with only one location in San Diego.
CiCi's tells Carlsbad Patch it is expanding in San Diego with 11 more stores to open in the region and one in Carlsbad.
"CiCi's is still in the process of meeting with potential franchise owners for a Carlsbad location so we do not have a firm opening date," said the PR agency representing CiCi's.
CiCi’s is best known for its family-centric atmosphere, made-to-order, custom buffet offerings and freshly-made dough at a budget-conscious price. Average price point for a dinner buffet is just $4.99. Each of the new San Diego restaurants will create 40-50 new jobs and awarding roughly $280,000 in local development contracts.
