City of Carlsbad Offers K-9 Fitness Classes
Enjoy a workout with your well-behaved, leashed K9 pal.
Looking for a way for you and your four-legged friend to stay in shape this summer? Try one of the City of Carlsbad's K-9 fitness classes.
You will walk and run with your dog while using resistance bands during this fun workout, then wrap up with a yoga-inspired cool down. This is a great way for you and your dog to stay in shape, have fun, and socialize. Must bring a 6 ft. (or shorter) dog leash. Bring a resistance tube, or the instructor will have one for you to purchase for $10.
The K-9 Fitness class is held at the Rancho Carrillo Trail from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays from July 16- Aug. 20, and the Hosp Grove Trail from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Fridays from July 19- Aug. 23.
The cost is $96 for residents adn $106 for non-residents.
