Help Identify Carlsbad Bank Robbery Suspect

The City of Carlsbad Police Department is asking the public for assistance identifying a bank robbery suspect.  

On Thursday, May 16, at 11 a.m., a white male suspect (pictured) described as 5’9”, 180 pounds, wearing a gray button shirt, dark shorts, a black hat and white socks, entered the Mission Federal Credit Union at 710 Carlsbad Village Drive. 

He approached the teller, told her he had a gun, and asked for cash.  He was carrying a black zipper bank bag.  He was last seen leaving the north east end of the bank. Anyone who can identify this suspect should contact Detective Jeff Smith at 760-931-2146 or Jeffery.Smith@carlsbadca.gov
