La Costa Canyon Farmers Market Now Offers Yoga, Exercise and More

In addition to fresh local produce, flowers, artisans, baked goods and other food offerings, La Costa Canyon Farmers Market is quickly becoming a weekly community gathering spot with its special events.

Free events such as morning yoga, book signings, exercise sessions, farm to table breakfast sampling, local chef visits and more, are providing community members a chance to reconnect, meet others and get active. Visit the La Costa Canyon Facebook page for more information.

Runners and Walkers come join us for a 3-mile route thru the La Costa Canyon area.

Bikers meet-up for a one to two hour bike ride -there will be 15, 25 and 40 mile biking options depending on interest. All riders must have helmet, bike and all safety gear.  Participants under 18 must have adult sign a waiver provided by exercise leaders.

The La Costa Canyon Farmers Market is held each Saturday from 10am – 2pm in the parking lot of La Costa Canyon High School. Half of the market’s proceeds benefit the school’s visual and performing arts department.  La Costa Canyon High School is located at 1 Maverick Way/Camino de los Coches (across from Stagecoach Park) in Carlsbad.
