More Struggling Sea Lions in Carlsbad
In the past week, a dophin and several sea lions have been seen washing ashore and struggling in the waves around the Carlsbad shoreline.
Patch user Gerry Nance sent us this video of a sea lion he spotted on April 7 around 7:30 a.m. at North Ponto Beach. He said animal rescue was called. The waves eventually brought the animal ashore briefly but then swept the sea lion back out.
