New Carlsbad Pizza Port Location Going Solar
The solar photovoltaic system on the roof is expected to save Pizza Port $30,000 annually.
Pizza Port is getting ready to open a fifth location in Carlsbad's Bressi Ranch and adding something a little extra: a 117,235 watt solar photovoltaic system installed on its rooftop, reported GetSolar.com.
"We are excited to do solar on a large scale, contributing to a greener building, which will also save us around $30,000 annually." said Pizza Port's Ethan Murray.
The new facility will be a restaurant and brewery and the company's first production, canning and distribution center for Pizza Port beer in addition to making pizza dough and salad dressing, according to the GetSolar.com article.
