Take a Virtual Tour of Alga Norte Community Park

The City of Carlsbad has just released four new videos providing a computer simulation virtual tour of Alga Norte Park.  

The park, scheduled to open at the end of 2013, is located on the corner of Poinsettia Lane and Alicante Road, just east of El Camino Real.

The park’s main features include:

• Aquatic center with two pools and a warm water spa
• A sprayground for young children with a concession stand nearby
• Off-leash dog park with areas for large and small dogs and a dog training area
• A lighted skate park for beginner and experienced skateboarders
• A playground with shade structures over the play equipment
• One lighted full basketball court and one half basketball court
• Three lighted multi-purpose ball fields with a concession stand
• Shaded picnic areas with BBQs
