2 Dogs Killed, 6 People Displaced In Bay Area House Fire

The home was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.

SAN LORENZO, CA — Two dogs were killed, and six people were displaced by a San Lorenzo house fire on Thursday, less than a week before Christmas, according to Alameda County Fire Department spokesperson Cheryl Hurd.

The home was already engulfed in flames when fire trucks arrived. It took 21 firefighters about 20 minutes to knock down the fire. No injuries to people were reported.

The blaze was reported at 12:22 p.m., in the 1600 block of Brandoni Avenue.
