Alameda County's New DA To Be Chosen
How to contact Castro Valley's Supervisor by 11 a.m. Tuesday to let him know whether you want a progressive DA, or one who's tough on crime.
CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Alameda County's progressive district attorney, Pamela Price, was overwhelmingly recalled by voters in the November election.
It now falls to the Alameda County Board of Supervisors to appoint her replacement.

Board President Nate Miley announced on Friday that "the board will address the appointment process for a new District Attorney" at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Castro Valley residents have until then to make their preferences known about whether they want a DA who is tough on crime, or will adhere to progressive policies such as those followed by Price.
