Calling All Rowell Ranch Rodeo Queen Contestants

Each year, the Rowell Ranch Rodeo Queen Contest is held to for the Rowell Ranch Rodeo, the sport of Professional Rodeo and the community.

Miss Rowell Ranch Rodeo 2012 will represent the 92nd Annual Rowell Ranch Rodeo on Saturday, May 19 and Sunday May 20, along with the newest event “Rockin' Bull Bash" on Friday night, May 18.

Eligible contestants must be 18 to 23 years of age and never married. They will be judged in four categories:  Personality, Appearance, Public Speaking, and Horsemanship.

The contest will begin Saturday, March 31 at 9 a.m. at in Castro Valley, where contestants will be judged on Horsemanship and be interviewed.

Final judging will be held later that evening with speeches, impromptu questions and modeling.

The Rowell Ranch Rodeo Queen Contest Dinner and Dance will be held March 20 at the Aahmes Hall in Livermore. 

Entries close March 5 for Rodeo Queen Applications.
