Lorraine Melino, a 65 year resident of Castro Valley, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2012.
She was a longtime member of the Castro Valley Women’s Club and enjoyed bridge, reading, and travel.
Lorraine married Sam Melino in 1942, and the two moved to Castro Valley in 1948, where they raised their sons, Mark and Greg. Lorraine was predeceased by her husband in 1998 and by her son, Greg, in 2006.
She is survived by her oldest son, Mark, and his wife Marlene Melino as well as her nieces, Mary Tomasi-Dubois, Alice Mitchell and Jeannie Clifton.
No services are planned at this time. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
