FESCO awarded $20,000 for disaster preparedness and response training.
The Family Emergency Shelter Coalition (FESCO) has been selected as a State Farm Insurance Good Neighbor Citizenship grant recipient for 2012.Â
FESCO will receive a $20,000 grant in support of the organization’s disaster preparedness and response training being developed in partnership with Collaborating Agencies Responding to Disasters (CARD). Â

This training is designed to be widely distributed and shared with other residential homeless services providers.
In the first round of registration, seventeen Alameda County organizations have signed up to benefit from this training. Â

Please join us in congratulating FESCO and CARD. State Farm representatives will present the check to FESCO during a visit on Tuesday, March 13 at 11:30 a.m.
