HAYWARD, CA — A 64-year-old bicyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle near Chabot College in Hayward on Friday morning.
The crash occurred about 10:19 a.m. near the intersection of Depot Road and Adrian Avenue, police said on social media.
The bicyclist, a Hayward man whose identity was not released, was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. It was the city's fifth fatal collision this year.

The driver of the vehicle, a 35-year-old man, was not injured in the collision, police said.
It is not believed that drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision, according to police.
