Boulevard Burgers No. 2 Celebrates Grand Opening Next Week
Folks will be able to dine on sandwiches, burgers, beers and shakes by Sept. 4.

After sitting vacant for years and going through months of construction, a will open its doors next week.
Located owner Michael Wiesner told Castro Valley Patch folks can start ordering as early as Sept. 4 at "Boulevard Burgers #2."
The diner will serve all-natural, top-quality burgers, beer and wines, sandwiches, malts and milkshakes. Prices range from $5 for the burgers to about $12 for a ribeye steak sandwich.

"It's a gourmet fast-food option," Wiesner said. "It will add something that is not a franchise [to Castro Valley]."
Wiesner also runs and Boulevard Burger in San Leandro, along with at in Castro Valley.

According to him, the secret to running successful restaurants is "great staffing and attention to detail." So far, he has hired about 15 local employees and plans to hire five more.
"We want to be the late-night spot to get a burger," Wiesner said.
In the near future, he plans to add outdoor patio seating and have a grand opening charity event in conjunction with a local Corvette Club.
