BREAKING: Bicyclist Killed in Hayward Hit-And-Run Crash
California Highway Patrol officials said the man had been lying there for a while because he was cold to the touch. (Breaking.)

Investigators are looking for a driver who fled a crash that killed a bicyclist near an Interstate Highway 880 on-ramp in Hayward sometime Tuesday night or this morning, California Highway Patrol officials said.
CHP officers were dispatched at about 7 a.m. to a report of a person lying on the right side of the on-ramp to Interstate Highway 880 from Tennyson Road. There they found a man in his mid-20s lying near a bicycle.
Paramedics were the first on the scene and pronounced the man dead.
CHP Officer Joseph Fowler said the man had been lying there for a while because he was cold to the touch.
He said bicyclist may have been crossing the road in a nearby crosswalk when a vehicle struck him. But right now officers have little to go on because they have no witnesses and the suspect left the area.
