Castro Valley Unified School District Appoints New Principal
At its most recent board meeting, the Castro Valley Unified School District Board of Education chose a new principal for Proctor Elementary.
CASTRO VALLEY, CA -- At its May 25 board meeting, the Castro Valley Unified School District Board of Education selected Jeff Keller for the position of principal at Proctor Elementary.
Keller has 17 years of administrative school and district office experience focused on collaborative structures to support student learning and supporting staff.
"He has successfully raised student achievement among all students and provided additional support through Response to Intervention with a focus on literacy," the school district said in a statement. "Mr. Keller brings vast knowledge to Castro Valley."

In addition to experience as a principal, he has 10 years' teaching experience from Colorado, the Bay Area and Honduras.
He earned a Master of Arts degree in Economics from California State University, Hayward and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from University of California, Berkeley.

“We are excited to have Mr. Keller join our team. His many years of successful leadership experience will benefit Proctor Elementary School students, staff, and families," District Superintendent Parvin Ahmadi said in a statement.
