The Chabot baseball team, which earned a second consecutive Coast-North Conference title and advanced to the 3C2A NorCal Regional Finals, was rewarded with 11 all-conference selections.
Freshman left-hander Isaac Lucas, a University of Memphis commit, was selected as Pitcher of the Year.
Other first-team picks are pitchers Will Aviles and Danny Hernandez, along with outfielders Raoul Fabian Jr. and Jalen Owens, catcher Liam Forsyth, and infielder and Gold Glove Danny Behrmann.
Making the second team were infielder Emmitt Phinney and pitcher Daniel Velichko; and honorable mention were outfielders Tyson Brown and Carmelo Rivera.
The Glads (34-13) had a great run under first-year head coach Paul Wiebens, a former Chabot assistant, tying for first in the conference with Skyline, and then advancing through Round 1 of the Regional by sweeping Merced. They also beat out Santa Rosa and Cabrillo in the Super Regional before bowing out to West Valley in the NorCal Regional Finals, two games to one.
