Chabot’s Koloski An Unbeaten State Tennis Champ
Gladiators singles star finished season with 26-0 record

Chabot College freshman Mina Koloski earned the 2025 CA State Tennis Singles Championship at Ventura College on Sunday, April 27.
Koloski entered the state championships unbeaten during the season, including capturing the Coast Conference Singles Championship.
In the state semifinals and finals, Koloski had to come back from a set down to win. In the finals, she rallied past Aileena Hu of American River, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3, to finish the season 26-0.

Koloski also overcame Juliana Vich of Mt. San Antonio in the semifinals, 5-7, 6-2, 6-3.
In the second round, Koloski swept past Maria Etrate 6-0, 6-0. She beat Kailani Lua of Bakersfield 6-2, 6-2 in the third round. In the Round of 16, Koloski cruised past Emma Patterson of Sierra 6-2, 6-1.

In the quarterfinals, she defeated Anaya Ayanbadejo of Santa Monica 6-2, 6-0.
Koloski becomes the third Chabot state singles champion in the 50 years of the intercollegiate program. The others are Zoe Olmos, in 2022, and Dmitry Dzyuba, in 2003.
