CVSan: Earn a Coupon for a New Motor Oil Filter
Single-family residents participate in CVSan's Used Motor Oil Filter Exchange Program to receive $15 coupons for new oil filters.
Do you change your own oil and live in a single-family home? From October 13th until November 21st, you can participate in CVSan’s Used Motor Oil Filter Exchange Program to receive $15 coupons for new oil filters.
To participate:
- Call or email ACI at least 24 hours before setting out your filter curbside and state that you will be participating in the Filter Exchange Program. ACI phone: (510) 483-1400.
- Place your old filter in a CVSan zipper-lock filter bag.
- On collection day, leave the sealed bag containing your filter at the curb next to your recycling cart. Used motor oil can be set out next to your filter. Used motor oil must be collected using its original container (no larger than five quarts) or an ACI-provided motor oil jug.
- ACI will collect the filter and oil jug and will mail you a coupon for a new oil filter the following week. ###/ulinfo@alamedacountyindustries.com. Call ACI to request a filter bag and/or motor oil jug for delivery on your next service day. Participants are eligible to receive one coupon per household per week during the filter exchange program period (up to six coupons total). The coupon is for a limited time only and expires on November 29, 2025. CVSan reserves the right to alter or cancel the program at any time for any reason.
