CVSan: July Recycles Day

CVSan's Recycles Day and Compost Give-Away event on Saturday, July 26th!

Participate in Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan)’s Recycles Day and Compost Give-Away event on Saturday, July 26th! Alameda County residents are invited to drop off Household Hazardous Waste (paint, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, e-waste). In addition, CVSan residents can drop off textiles and exchange single-use 1 lb. propane cylinders for a 1 lb. refillable one. CVSan residents and businesses may also receive three 1-cubic foot bags of compost!

The event will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Canyon Middle School. Appointments will be required to participate. Registration is open from June 23rd at 3:00 p.m. until July 21st. Appointments are limited and will be given to eligible customers in the order of registration.
