East Bay businessman jailed for child sexual abuse
Disgraced former owner of Adams Autoworx, located in Castro Valley, Albany, and Walnut Creek, jailed for child abuse in Alameda County.

In Walnut Creek, Albany, and Castro Valley, there is an automotive repair company called Adams Autoworx. It was and still is a family operated business with the sons, but not his daughters, now running it. It's former owner, William Adams, claims to have retired. He paraded the public to believe that he did everything for his family. He is charasmatic. He is well versed on bargaining for a deal that is (was) always in his best interest. Built his reputation on being a religious family man. However, he is hiding a massive secret.
On August 12, 2025, the day after his sixtieth birthday, Willam started his prison sentence for sexually abusing children. His case number is 22-cr-013406. He is being held in Santa Rita jail until the courts decide which state prison he will be sent. The two victims that provided their impact statements at his sentencing are his daughters.
There are concerns that he may have other victims. The hope of this anonymous writer is that they will see this and know that, while it can be difficult, that they can report. They are safe and are not alone. That he is in jail for five years with two strikes, and upon release, will be registered as a sex offender.
