Castro Valley Pride Celebrates National Coming Out Day

October 11th is National Coming Out Day, a day observed by the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community, as well as allies, to create civil awareness of all genders and orientations.

This year, Castro Valley Pride will be having a rally on the corner of Redwood Road and Castro Valley Boulevard (in front of ) to celebrate! Bring out your signs and flags to show your pride and support for the LGBT community and give a warm welcome to the newly "emerged" all over the country.

This event comes after July's ," a grassroots event featuring neighbors, family and friends supporting the LGBT community in Castro Valley.
