Great Gladiators! Lucas, Stitts Honored

Chabot star pitcher Isaac Lucas, a freshman who has committed to University of Memphis, and sprint sensation Robert Stitts, a NorCal champion in the 100 and 200 meters, have been selected as Gladiators of the Month for May.
Lucas, the Coast Conference Pitcher of the Year, finished ranked No. 4 in the state in strikeouts with 106. He helped Chabot earn a second consecutive Coast-North Conference title and make a deep run in the playoffs.
Stitts finished No. 2 in the state in the 200 meters in a school-record time of 20.84 seconds. The Chabot men finished seventh in the state meet standings.
